Royal Enfield and Belstaff exclusive collaboration

London, Tuesday 24th August – In celebration of Royal Enfield’s 120th Anniversary year, Belstaff and Royal Enfield have come together in a unique celebration of British craft and motorcycling culture. The inspiration behind the collaboration is a shared legacy of both pure motorcycling and timeless design.

The hero pieces of the collection are the two limited edition Royal Enfield x Belstaff waxed jackets, styled on the iconic waxed cotton Trialmaster jacket and the Brooklands armoured motorcycle jacket. Every jacket is styled with a special commemorative “Royal Enfield 120-year Anniversary” patch on the right-hand sleeve and an additional “Limited Edition” riveted metal plaque on the inside zip. With a run of only 500 jackets each in Belstaff’s ‘Classic Black’ colourway, each piece is truly a collector’s item. The jackets are supported by a range of heritage-inspired t-shirts, zip-up sweatshirts, caps and enamel mugs, offering stylish solutions on and off the bike.

Spanning a combined history of close to 22 decades, both Royal Enfield and Belstaff have been developing products which have been synonymous with adventure, craftsmanship, functionality, and style, which can be passed from one generation to the next. This special collaboration marks another chapter in both brands’ commitment to building a culture around the joys of riding pure and of fostering community.

Whether it was Royal Enfield providing the machines to facilitate great journeys, or Belstaff outfitting the individuals that sought to push the boundaries - since 1901 and 1924 respectfully, embracing the spirit of exploration has always been intrinsic to the ethos of both brands.

Says Arun Gopal, Royal Enfield’s Head of Business Markets EMEA, “As part of our 120th anniversary celebrations, we’re delighted to present this collaboration with such an iconic British brand as Belstaff and to commemorate this special brand milestone in such a unique way.”

“As the world’s oldest motorcycle brand in continuous production, starting from humble beginnings at our historic Redditch factory in 1901, we’re incredibly proud of our rich heritage and our ethos towards making authentic products that stand the test of time. And if there’s another British brand that honours legacy in a similar vein, it’s certainly Belstaff. Collaboration is a big part of the way in which we work at Royal Enfield, so we feel very proud and excited by this particular partnership and being able to write a new chapter to the brand’s history.”

In homage to the collaboration of two iconic heritage bands, the in-house Royal Enfield Custom Team have developed two custom Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 motorcycles - boasting one-of-a-kind liveries and featuring unique design elements incorporating Belstaff’s legendary British Millerain waxed canvas and antique brass hardware.
